Style Site Optical is an independent, family-owned optometry practice and eyewear center in Aventura, Florida that provides eye exams, specialty contact lenses, myopia control, urgent eye care and prescription eyewear for families across northeast Miami-Dade. Three generations of South Florida families have picked out their glasses with us. We are still on Biscayne Boulevard, and still doing it the same way — carefully, and in person.

OUR STORY
How Style Site Optical started
Stan Elbrand founded the practice on Biscayne Boulevard in 1973. For more than fifty years it has been more than a place to buy glasses. As a family-owned business we treat customers like extended family, which in practice means someone spends real time with you — on the fitting, on the measurements, and on the adjustments afterwards.
Today the practice is owned and run by optometrist Dr. Teresita Bollar, OD, and it still works the same way. That is also why people come back for repairs and refits years after they bought the frames. We would rather fix your glasses today than sell you a pair you did not need.

No appointment needed Monday to Saturday. Walk in for an eye exam or a repair, and most repairs are done in under 20 minutes while you wait.
Clear prices before you book
Comprehensive exam $140, contact lens exam $240, urgent eye visit $150, scleral fitting $450. We publish our prices so you know the cost before you come in.
Free adjustments for life
On any frame bought here, adjustments and small repairs like screws and nose pads are free for as long as you own the glasses. Just walk in, no appointment needed.

Your sight is a long game. We focus on prevention and long-term ocular health, not just today’s prescription, so small problems get caught while they are still small.
Surgery co-management
If you are considering or recovering from eye surgery, we handle the parts either side of it — candidacy testing through to vision stabilization — with steady oversight throughout.

What Style Site Optical does
Medical eye care and eyewear from the same team, so nothing gets lost between an exam and a pair of glasses.
A full exam with one of our optometrists for adults and children: prescription, eye health and pressure check, and diabetic eye exams. A comprehensive adult exam is $140, and most vision and medical plans are accepted.
Contact lens exams and fittings for soft, multifocal and toric lenses ($240), plus scleral lenses for keratoconus, irregular corneas and severe dry eye (fitting $450). We handle the fitting and the follow-up visits in house.
Stellest spectacle lenses slow down how fast a child's nearsightedness gets worse. It starts with a standard comprehensive exam, and then the doctor builds a myopia management plan around your child's prescription.

Dr. Bollar earned her Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University and has practiced in clinics, hospitals and independent optical practices across Miami-Dade since 2009, evaluating thousands of patients.

Your exam with an optometrist
Your exam is with Dr. Teresita Bollar or Dr. Heather Phillips. The doctor goes over your results and options with you in plain language.

Choose and fit your eyewear
Our optical team helps you choose from 1,000+ frames, then takes your measurements in person so your lenses are centered correctly.

Pick-up and lifetime adjustments
We fit and adjust your glasses at pick-up. On frames bought here, adjustments and small repairs like screws and nose pads are free for life.

Do you accept insurance, Medicaid or FSA/HSA?
Yes. We accept most vision and medical insurance plans, as well as Medicaid. You can also pay for exams, glasses and contact lenses with FSA or HSA funds.
Can you repair glasses I bought somewhere else?
Yes. Walk in and most repairs are done in under 20 minutes. Adjustments and small repairs are free for life on frames bought here, and there is a small charge for glasses bought elsewhere.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes, se habla español. Our team helps patients in both English and Spanish, from booking to picking up their glasses.
